Its mellow and sweet taste calms and relaxes you after a long and busy day. Modern day version of this tea is often a blend with other varietals but ours is 100% Zheng Yan Da Hong Pao.

Brewing Suggestions

  • Traditional Style 

    (Using Gaiwan, Chinese teapot for shorter brews, repeated a few times)

    Tea / Water: 

    5 g per 100 ml of water

    0.25 oz per 5 fl oz of water

    Temperature: 100C / 212F

    Brew Time:

    Warm teapot and let it bloom well before first brew
    1st Brew: 25 seconds
    2nd Brew: 20 seconds
    Subsequent Brews: 30-45 seconds

  • Modern Style

    (Using a mug or a bigger teapot for longer brews, repeated once or twice)

    Tea / Water: 

    3 g per 100 ml of water

    0.3 oz per 10 fl oz of water

    Temperature: 100C / 212F

    Brew Time:

    Warm teapot or mug and let it bloom well before first brew
