Healthful harmony. This gushu (old tree), ripe pu‘er tea cake was originally created for the producer’s aging mother to improve her overall health. Mellow, with a long-lasting sweetness, it is a very special pu'er.  Warming and balancing, with cleansing and detoxing properties,  it the perfect tea to enjoy after dinner. Ripe pu'er has a low caffeine content in case you are worried about having a good night’s sleep.

  • Traditional Style 

    (Using Gaiwan, Chinese teapot for shorter brews, repeated a few times)

    Tea / Water

    3 g per 100 ml of water

    0.15 oz per 5 fl oz of water

    Temperature: 100C / 212F

    Brew Time:

    Warm teapot and let it bloom well before first brew
    1st Brew: 45 seconds
    2nd Brew: 40 seconds
    Subsequent Brews: 60-90 seconds

  • Modern Style

    (Using a mug or a bigger teapot for longer brews, repeated once or twice)

    Tea / Water

    1.5 g per 100 ml of water

    0.15 oz per 10 fl oz of water

    Temperature: 100C / 212F

    Brew Time:

    Warm teapot or mug and let it bloom well before first brew
